Looking for Men’s Program Coordinator-Artistic Gymnastics Coach

North Peace Gymnastics is a non-profit organization located in the scenic northern community of Fort St. John, BC
The club is currently seeking a Men’s Program Coordinator-Artistic Gymnastics coach to oversee and develop the competitive and precompetitive programs. The right candidate will be a dynamic individual with proven communication skills to provide vision, planning, mentorship and coaching within the Men’s programs as well as assisting with the Women’s programs in areas of Vaulting, Tumbling and Bars in conjunction with our Head Coach.
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications or their equivalent:
- NCCP Level 3 certification in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics
- Degree in physical Education is preferred.
- Coaching experience at the National level.
- Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written) and diplomacy are required
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Respect in Sport Certificate (can be obtained upon employment)
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Coach and coordinate the MAG program
- Develop and implement training and practice sessions
- Motivate and prepare athletes for competitions
- Assist in coaching the competitive WAG program
- Evaluate athletes performances
- Mentor and support additional coaches in the club.
- Work as a team player to ensure programs grow and run smoothly. This team includes all coaches of NPGA, Head Coach and the Board of Directors.
- Participate in all required meetings and club events.
- Travel and attend competitions when required.
- Develop and implement yearly training plans for high performance athletes
- Enforce safety rules and regulations
A competitive salary between $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 Yearly based on a 40 hour work week will be offered to t
